PNGforPTF v1.0 by akadewboy

First I want to make it clear, I did not make pngnq. I only wrote the GUI to
make using it easier. You can get the latest version of pngnq here:

===The Story===
===============
Sony's Custom Theme Converter is a very picky program on what PNGs it can use.
The only format that it likes are 256 color 8-bit PNGs with alpha channel. The
problem with this is that there is only one program that fully supports this
format and that's Adobe Fireworks, which costs $299.

Most image editing programs out there only support alpha transparency if the
PNG is 24-bit. This of course is a major problem if you want your icons to
have smooth edges, or if you want your whole icon to be partially see-through.

Well after many hours of searching I found my answer, which was pngnq. But
it's a DOS program and I am not very good with DOS, so I wrote a simple GUI
for converting multiple pngs all at once.

===Usage===
===========
It's very simple, all you have to do is open your PNGs (hold Ctrl while you
click to select multiple PNGs). Then click the Convert button.

This tool is mainly to be used with PNGs made with Gimp with a 99.0 opacity or
less. I have not tested it with other programs.

===Golden Rules of Sony's Theme Converter===
============================================
Now remember, Sony's Theme Converter is very picky on the size and format of
each images. Here are the requirements for each one:

Wallpaper
Wallpaper: 480x272 24-bit *.bmp

Category Icons
Icon Body: 64X48 256 colors *.png

First Level Icons
Icon Body: 48x48 256 colors *.png
Icon Focus: 64x64 256 colors *.png

Second Level Icons
Icon Body: 32x32 256 colors *.png
Icon Focus: 48x48 256 colors *.png

Others
Preview Icon: 16x16 256 colors *.png
Preview Image: 300x170 24-bit *.bmp

Do not use pure white (255 255 255) or pure black (0 0 0) colors in any of
your images. Theme Converter may freeze if you do.

===Converting Back to 24-bit===
===============================
If you ever want to change your images back to 24-bit you are going to have to
use a program like Irfanview.

In Irfanview :
Image -> Increase Color Depth (you'll lose all transparency when you save).
